Experienced, caring educators committed to every child
St. Paul’s teaching staff is comprised of an outstanding and collaborative team of educators. Our teachers are selected for their knowledge of child development, their experience and their warmth and love for children. Our teachers and assistants continually seek to improve their craft by completing a minimum of 18 hours of continuing education each year. All staff is trained in First Aid and CPR.
I chose St. Paul’s Preschool for my daughter seventeen years ago because of the sense of community I felt there from the moment I stepped on campus. I am here today because I still feel that community every day from co-workers and families. We genuinely care about your kids, we care about you and we care about each other. My favorite days include quietly sitting on my patio observing all my backyard critters and then coming in to make a meal that includes something I have grown.
I love teaching at St Paul’s Preschool. In fact, I attended St Paul’s when I was in preschool and so did my son. I have been teaching for most of my adult life and am so happy to use myexperience to be an assistant in the Owl Class. As a big believer in the power of learning through play I enjoy playing with the students every chance I get! In my free time I like to do crossword puzzles, exercise, eat, and most of all spend time with my family.
I am a native Tucsonan and University of Arizona graduate. Go Cats! I have two little boys, Sammy and Dean, who both attended St. Paul’s for preschool and Pre-K, and I feel lucky to be a part of the teaching team now. Before St. Paul’s, I taught 1st grade and kindergarten for 12 years but left after the Covid year to stay home with my boys. Some of my favorite things are gardening, iced vanilla lattes and musicals!
I am a mom to three awesome boys and one sweet girl—my dog, Sage. I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, and teaching. My journey with St. Paul’s began as a parent when my three boys attended preschool here. Their experience prepared them well for kindergarten, and now I have the priviledge of teaching Pre-K. My goal is to create a safe and fun classroom where students LOVE to learn while building the social, academic, and confidence skills they need for kindergarten and beyond.
My students call me Mrs. Brandy, and I have worked in education, in a multitude of capacities, for over 30 years. My husband and I have been married for 34 years, have raised three successful sons. Our family loves nature and spending every summer in the national forest in northern Wisconsin. I am a huge animal lover with more than 14 pets. I love helping children discover the wonder of the world around them while incorporating nature into our daily classroom activities.
